Truett Tate brings more than 40 years of senior executive and corporate board experience to his role as a MyNextSeason Executive Advisor. A founder, CEO, and Board Chairman, Truett began his own next season in 2018, and understands the challenges and triumphs that come with big transitions.
A forward-thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit, Truett is committed to helping others create a dynamic leadership legacy. Having lived 40 of the past 50 years overseas in more than half a dozen locations, including Brazil, Hong Kong, and the UK, he has a unique global perspective as a mentor and coach that is deeply influenced by cultural understanding and personal connections.
Previously, Truett served as Board Chair of QBE North America and as CEO of ANZ’s OECD countries, where he drove significant revenue growth and increased efficiencies. Prior to ANZ, Truett was Group Executive at Lloyds Banking Group, where he was responsible for Wholesale and International Banking worldwide and served as Group Board Director for eight years. He also spent 27 years at Citigroup in a variety of senior roles, including responsibility for corporate banking business across each of its regional geographies.
Truett has served on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards, including as Chairman of Lloyds Development Capital, QBE North America, Thinkably, Reference Point, TLC Lions, and Chairman of Chase Cost Management; he also joined the Advisory Board of Second Chance Partnership in July 2026. A past board member of Business in the Community (BITC), whose Royal Founding Patron is King Charles III, Truett was named one of 40 Fellows in recognition of his contributions to the organization and responsible business. The honor marked BITC’s 40th anniversary in 2022.
Truett is a sports enthusiast who enjoys water sports, golf, and racquet sports. He and his wife, Dorothe, have two children and currently live on Long Island, New York.
