Tim Huval is a cross-functional enterprise leader more than 30 years of experience across Technology, Financial Services, and Healthcare. As a MyNextSeason Executive Advisor, he brings a perspective shaped by senior leadership in human resources, operations, technology, and corporate governance, with experience leading transformation, building award-winning cultures, and overseeing enterprise functions through change.
Most recently, Tim served as Chief Administrative Officer at Humana, overseeing human resources, marketing, real estate, and related enterprise functions. He played a pivotal role in shaping Humanaโs strategic and cultural evolution into a more consumer-oriented, purpose-driven healthcare company. Earlier, as Chief Human Resources Officer, he led key initiatives to modernize talent strategies and strengthen organizational engagement.
Before joining Humana, Tim spent more than a decade at Bank of America in senior executive roles across Operations, Technology, and Human Resources. He began his career at Gateway, where he led Human Resources and general management functions.
Tim currently serves in several corporate, civic, and not-for-profit board and advisor roles, including as a Director of Republic Bank and Bon Secours Mercy Health, Strategic Advisor to Humana, Board Observer for the Humana Foundation, and advisor to MyCareGorithm and RecruitU. He also serves on the board of the Castleman Disease Collaborative Network and was recently appointed by the Mayor to serve on the Kentuckiana Works Board.
Tim holds a Master of Public Administration from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Weber State University and an Associate degree in Business from Salt Lake Community College, where he later received an Honorary Doctorate. Based in Kentucky, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, Brenda, their two children, and their granddaughter.
