Dr. Yele Aluko brings clinical expertise, strategic perspective, and a deeply personal understanding of health and wellness to his role as a MyNextSeason Medical Concierge. A cardiologist and healthcare advisor, Dr. Aluko works with clients to evaluate their health priorities, manage the effects of professional transitions, and develop realistic goals that support long-term well-being. His approach reflects more than three decades spanning patient care, health system leadership, and healthcare strategy.
Dr. Aluko practiced cardiovascular medicine for 25 years at Novant Health, where he held numerous clinical and executive leadership roles. As Senior Vice President of Novant Health Heart & Vascular Institute and Medical Director of the Heart & Vascular Institute, he led the advancement of cardiovascular care across multiple hospitals and physician groups. He also established innovative structural heart programs and performed several first-of-their-kind procedures in the region.
He later joined EY (formerly Ernst & Young), serving as Managing Director and Chief Medical Officer for the firm’s Health and Life Sciences Advisory practice. In that role, he advised healthcare organizations and leaders on industry transformation, care delivery, employee health, and emerging health risks. He also founded and led the EY Center for Health Equity, bringing together clinical insight and business strategy to improve health outcomes.
A nationally and internationally recognized speaker, Dr. Aluko regularly addresses healthcare transformation, cardiovascular health, value-based care, innovation, and the structural factors that influence health and longevity.
Dr. Aluko earned his medical degree from the University of Ibadan and his MBA from Wake Forest University. A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, he completed advanced training in internal medicine, cardiology, and interventional cardiology at Columbia University, Cornell University, and the UMass Memorial Medical Center.
