Naras Eechambadi is a global data, analytics, and business transformation leader with deep experience across C-suite leadership, entrepreneurship, board service, and executive coaching. As a MyNextSeason Advisor, Naras brings practical insight from helping organizations use data, AI, and digital capabilities to drive growth, improve decision-making, and navigate transformation. He brings that lens to his work with executives as they evaluate new opportunities, make sense of change, and determine where their leadership can create value.
Naras served as Chief Global Data and Analytics Officer for Universal Music Group (UMG), a $13B+ music and entertainment company operating in more than 65 countries. In that role, he built the companyโs global data and analytics function and led initiatives spanning data strategy, advanced analytics, business planning, forecasting, product road maps, and fan engagement across billions of global touchpoints.
Earlier, Naras founded and led Quaero, a customer data and analytics platform company built for large enterprises with complex data environments and led two strategic exits. He also held leadership roles with Wells Fargo and McKinsey & Company, where he helped build early data and analytics capabilities.
Naras currently serves as an independent Board Member of The Travel Corporation and as an Executive Fellow with the Return on AI Institute. His board and advisory experience also includes work with Novo Nordisk, UNC Charlotteโs School of Data Science, EcoHealth Alliance, Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont, and AI-focused start-ups, giving him a broad perspective on governance, transformation, entrepreneurship, and emerging technology.
Naras earned a PhD in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin, an MS in Management Science from Northwestern University, and a BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He is a Professional Certified Coach and has his NACD Directorship Certification.
