Sharon Ritchey

A former COO, public board director, and business leader in banking, insurance, and wealth management, Sharon Ritchey brings broad operational, strategic, and governance experience to her role as a MyNextSeason Advisor. A career-long mentor respected for authenticity and candor, she uses her multifaceted leadership experiences to help executives hone critical skill sets and develop the capabilities needed to reach their full potential.

Sharonโ€™s 35+ year career encompasses leadership roles at Citibank, GE Capital, The Hartford, AXA, and T. Rowe Price, where she gained deep expertise in creating teams and cultures rooted in innovation, engagement, and collaboration. As COO at AXA US, she directed the companyโ€™s operations, technology, digital, data analytics, and service centers across all lines of business. Leveraging digital capabilities, she drove strategic initiatives that resulted in major expense efficiencies and improved customer satisfaction. She was also a member of the AXA Group Global Operations Executive Committee, working with international company leaders on critical business matters.
Previously, Sharon held chief operating positions in multiple business lines at The Hartford Financial Services Group, culminating in the P&L management of $54B AUM and revenue of $1B as President of Retirement Plans.

Sharon currently serves as a Non-Executive Director for QBE North America, where she chairs the People and Remuneration Committee and serves on the Audit and the Risk and Capital Committees. She also advised Enlighten Operational Excellence and EXL. Previously, she served on the LPGA Foundation Board of Directors and United States Golf Association Executive Committee.

Sharon earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an MBA and BA in Marketing from Eastern Kentucky University. She and her wife, Julia, live in Atlanta, GA.
