During his career at Bank of America, Mike held numerous executive management roles within the Corporate Real Estate Division. His assignments ranged from overseeing the development and execution of a global real estate strategy for the bank’s 60,000+ Technology & Operations associates to managing the design and construction of hundreds of buildings and branches across the United States.
Mike’s passion for developing leaders goes well beyond the business world. In 2001, Mike co-founded Stewards of the Game, a non-profit group that teaches faith-based life lessons through sports to more than 1,000 young annually. Mike’s passion for youth sports outreach has taken him to Bolivia, Kenya, Nicaragua, Zambia and Haiti, where he led camps and clinics for impoverished youth.
Mike is dedicated to campus outreach and mentoring at his alma mater, Davidson College, where he majored in economics and played varsity football and baseball. Mike is active in his church and can often be found on the ballfield where he serves as a volunteer instructor for the Soaring Eagles Baseball Academy. He and his wife, Teresa, live near Lake Norman, North Carolina have two adult sons, David and Nathan.
