Deirdre Latour is an accomplished business leader, communications strategist, and reputation expert. Throughout her career, she has advised CEOs, boards and leaders in the industrial sector, education, media, entertainment industry, and sports world. She is currently the founder of Rebellis Communications, a strategic advisory firm that helps companies and executives build and protect their reputation with key audiences.

Deirdre’s success is built on a foundation of experience at GE where she rose to be the Chief Communications Officer, Senior Advisor to the CEO, and an Officer of the company. As the spearhead of all communications functions globally, she played a major role in influencing stakeholder perception as the company managed a variety of transformative developments, including a CEO succession.

After GE, Deirdre commuted to London as the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and a member of the executive team at the FTSE 100 learning content company Pearson. Her role included global oversight of investor relations, government relations, sustainability, media relations, research and insights, employee engagement, branding, and marketing.

After 16 years in-house, Deirdre joined Edelman, the world’s largest communications firm, as the President of its New York office. In her role, she led a team of 800 employees and had responsibility for client management and the office’s financial performance. She also provided counsel to a wide-ranging group of clients in consumer retail, media, healthcare, and corporate communications.

Deirdre began her career in the agency world at Porter Novelli and then Edelman, working on promoting consumer brands like Kellogg’s, General Motors, and Acuvue through sports and entertainment marketing programs.
