Burnet Tucker is a seasoned human resources executive who has spent her career bringing out the best in leaders and organizations. Along the way, she mentored numerous men and women on managing work and life, imparting her own hard-won wisdom. Now an Advisor with My Next Season, Burnet uses her 30 years of executive experience to lead others into their best next season of life. Combining a sophisticated knowledge of human behavior with deep sensitivity, Burnet helps clients in career transition move toward purposeful new endeavors.
Before joining My Next Season, Burnet spent 24 years with Bank of America, where she played vital roles in executive development, talent management, and organizational effectiveness, most recently as the Global Head of Leadership Development and Learning. Leading a team of more than a thousand and supporting a company of 220,000, Burnet invested significant energy in coaching and developing the most senior executives through rapid growth during major acquisitions. As the Chief Learning Officer for the bank, she oversaw the delivery of more than 10 million learning hours annually to employees. As head of leadership development, she designed and delivered programs and tools which strengthened individual and team effectiveness.
Burnet currently serves on several boards in Charlotte including Freedom School Partners and Community School of the Arts and is active in the Women’s Impact Fund, an organization committed to maximizing women’s leadership in philanthropy. In addition, she is on the Board of Visitors for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as well as a board member of the Montreat Conference Center. Burnet and her husband have two children and live in Charlotte, North Carolina.
