Simon Bound is a seasoned investment research and capital markets executive who brings a grounded perspective to senior leaders exploring new professional horizons. Most recently, Simon served as Global Director of Research at Morgan Stanley, where he led a top-ranked team that spanned New York, London, and Asia. He was instrumental in driving client-centric innovation and developing global talent. His Wall Street career included roles as Executive Director at Goldman Sachs and Partner at Fulcrum Asset Management, demonstrating his command of institutional sales, asset management, and investment research.

Simon’s career began with a decade in the Royal Navy as a Clearance Diving Officer, where he specialized in deactivating underwater mines and conducting high-risk salvage operations. He later served in British Intelligence before transitioning to the private sector. His exemplary military service earned him the Queen’s Gallantry Medal for heroic rescue efforts following a ferry disaster—an early testament to his calm, decisive leadership under pressure.

A lifelong learner and intellectually curious by nature, Simon recently earned a Master’s in History from Yale University. He regularly serves as a substitute history teacher, a role that reflects his passion for education and mentorship.

Simon and his wife, Maggie, live in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, and are the proud parents of seven children. A competitive open water swimmer and member of the Barnes Rugby Club Hall of Fame, Simon balances his coaching practice with an active family life, fitness, and community involvement.
