Sally Geaney brings decades of diverse experience as a senior executive at premier financial institutions to her role as a MyNextSeason Advisor. Known for building engaged and effective teams in matrixed organizations, Sally is passionate about helping leaders expand their thinking and set clear goals for reaching their full potential.

Sally retired in 2020 as the Head of Customer Experience and Digital at TIAA, where she created the organization’s enterprise customer experience function and led a team in designing next-generation digital client experiences. Earlier, she was instrumental in elevating TIAA to a world-class service provider, transforming its Institutional Contact Center and streamlining operations for 950 service and sales consultants in the US and India.

Sally has also held various customer excellence and coaching leadership roles at Wells Fargo and Fidelity Investments, facilitating business turnarounds and effectively aligning strategy, people, and process to drive business results.

Inspired by her own mentors, Sally has held a desire to pay it forward throughout her career. She gained foundational coaching experience working with WOMEN Unlimited, Inc. more than 30 years ago and has continued to help professionals learn and grow in each of her corporate roles since.

A thought leader and speaker on change, customer experience, and the power of habits, Sally is currently an instructor for the Harvard Business School Club of Charlotte’s Management Development Program at Queens University. She is a former Executive Committee and Board Member for the Community Building Initiative and a Member of the Women’s Impact Fund in Charlotte. She holds a BA in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Sally loves cooking, golfing, and spending time at the beach. She and her husband, Aidan, reside in Charlotte, NC, and Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, and they have three adult children.
