Pat Bowe is a seasoned executive and board leader who brings a steady, grounded perspective to senior executives as they shape new roles and engagements. Pat partners with clients to reflect on their leadership experience and clarify how they want to apply it going forward. Drawing on decades of experience as a senior executive and board leader, Pat guides clients to focus on the leadership capabilities and perspectives that continue to shape how they contribute, advise, and lead.

Prior to joining The Andersons, Pat spent 30 years at Cargill, where he held a range of senior leadership roles, including Corporate Vice President and President of Corn Wet Milling North America. His career spanned commercial, operational, and general management responsibilities in the US and abroad, giving him deep experience in agriculture, food systems, and large-scale operations. He began his career as a grain merchant and trader, which were formative roles that shaped his pragmatic, market-oriented leadership approach.

In addition to his executive career, Pat brings extensive board experience across public, private, and nonprofit organizations. He currently serves as Chairman of The Andersons, Inc., a public company, and as a director of King Ranch, Inc., a private company. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Toledo Museum of Art and is former Chair of Live Arts Toledo. He has previously served on the boards of United Malt Group, a public company, and Schwan’s Company, a private company, where he chaired the Risk and Finance Committee, where he chaired the Risk and Finance Committee, as well as Fabcon Precast, where he served as Chairman. Across these roles, he is valued for his governance perspective, financial judgment, and steady support of leadership teams during periods of change.

Pat holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from Stanford University. Pat played tight end for the Stanford Football team, earning Academic All American honors. He and his wife are the parents of six children and grandparents to 10 grandchildren. As he continues to shape his own next season, Pat brings a thoughtful, reflective approach on discernment, resilience, and leadership to his work with clients.
