Joshua Rand is a Partner at MyNextSeason, working across strategy, client engagement, and partnerships to support the company’s continued growth. He brings more than 25 years of experience building and scaling businesses, leading high-performing teams, and driving revenue growth across fintech, Software as a Service (SaaS), and financial services.

Most recently, Josh served as President of Arootah, where he was recruited to bring structure and direction to a founder-led firm serving the alternative investment industry through business advisory, talent acquisition, and executive coaching.

Prior to that, he served as Managing Director, Americas, at Essentia Analytics, helping launch and lead the US office of the UK-based fintech while contributing to significant growth across the region. He has also built relationships with many of the world’s largest asset managers, pension funds, banks, and alternative investors.

Earlier in his career, Josh held leadership and founder roles across investment management and technology organizations, including Principal of Petra Capital Partners, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of DJRN, and Co-Founder and CEO of Sapotek, a company recognized by Business 2.0 for its early innovation in cloud computing. He began his career as a capital markets attorney at Shearman & Sterling, focused on cross-border debt and equity transactions.

Josh also serves on the Board of Directors of ALS United Greater New York, supporting the organization’s work to provide services and support for individuals and families affected by ALS while helping advance research toward treatments and, ultimately, a cure.

Josh holds a BA from Brown University, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a JD from Fordham University School of Law. He lives in Rye, New York, with his wife, Janey, and their three teenage children.
