As IT Director, Evan Smith combines broad technical knowledge and a pragmatic approach to ensure MyNextSeason has the digital resources and security infrastructure needed to best serve its clients. With more than 20 years of experience in IT systems management and support, Evan plays a key role in the creation and enhancement of the company’s tech-enabled offerings, ensuring they are secure and aligned with the organization’s growth objectives.
A forward-thinking problem solver, Evan manages the day-to-day IT needs of the company, serving the multidisciplinary team throughout the country. He also collaborates with leadership, advisors, and project managers to enable seamless technical delivery of innovative client programs and content.
Evan began his career in IT as a Data Networking Specialist at his alma mater, West Virginia University, after earning a BS in Business Administration. He went on to provide information systems operational support to leadership, staff, and students at West Virginia University Health Sciences Center as a Computer Technician and Professional Technologist.
Evan and his wife, Rachel, live in Morgantown, WV, and they have three boys. The whole family enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, fishing, skiing, and going to the beach.
