Burnet Tucker is a seasoned human resources executive who has spent her career bringing out the best in organizations. Now an Advisor with MyNextSeason, she uses her 30 years of experience to lead others through critical career and life transitions. Combining a sophisticated knowledge of human behavior with deep sensitivity, Burnet helps clients create and execute thoughtful approaches to new endeavors.

Before joining MyNextSeason, Burnet spent 24 years with Bank of America, where she played vital roles in talent development and organizational effectiveness, most recently as the Global Head of Leadership Development and Learning. Leading a team of over 1,000 and supporting a company of 220,000, she invested significantly in coaching the senior most executives through rapid growth during major acquisitions.

Burnet also has expertise leading global teams regarding compensation, staffing, and HR infrastructure. As Bank of America expanded, she gained deep experience in mergers and acquisitions as well as managing international teams and working with cultural differences, mentoring numerous individuals along the way.

Burnet retired from the bank in 2015 to serve as an executive coach and expand her work with not-for-profit organizations. She is currently on the Freedom School Partners Board and has supported the Women’s Impact Fund, an organization committed to maximizing women’s leadership in philanthropy.

She is an elder in her Presbyterian Church and active with Refugee Support Services in Charlotte. Previously, Burnet served on the Board of Visitors for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and as Board Chair of the Montreat Conference Center.

Burnet graduated as a Morehead-Cain Scholar from the University of North Carolina with a BA in history. She and her husband have two adult children and live in Charlotte, NC.
