Burnet Tucker is a seasoned human resources executive who has spent her career bringing out the best in organizations; now, she uses her 30 years of experience as an Advisor with MyNextSeason. Before joining MyNextSeason, Burnet spent 24 years with Bank of America, where she played vital roles in talent development and organizational effectiveness, most recently as the Global Head of Leadership Development and Learning. Leading a team of over 1,000 and supporting a company of 220,000, she invested significantly in coaching the senior most executives through rapid growth during major acquisitions.
Burnet also has expertise leading global teams regarding compensation, staffing, and HR infrastructure. As Bank of America expanded globally, she gained deep experience in mergers and acquisitions as well as managing international teams and working with cultural differences, mentoring numerous individuals along the way.
Burnet retired from the bank in 2015 to serve as an executive coach and expand her work with not-for-profit organizations. She has served on several boards, including Arts+ and has supported the Women’s Impact Fund, an organization committed to maximizing women’s leadership in philanthropy.
She is currently an elder in her Presbyterian Church and active with Refugee Support Services in Charlotte. In addition, she is on the Board of Visitors for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and serves as Board Chair of the Montreat Conference Center.
Burnet graduated as a Morehead-Cain Scholar from the University of North Carolina with a BA in history. She and her husband have two adult children and live in Charlotte, NC.
