Having served his country for more than 40 years, United States Air Force Major General (Retired) Steve Schaick brings decades of leadership and coaching experience to his role as a MyNextSeason Advisor. Central to Steve’s coaching style is the belief that every individual has an infinite amount of potential at all stages in life. With an encouraging and positive approach, he guides executives as they discern their path for creating a successful and meaningful next season.

As the former Chief of Chaplains of the US Air Force, Steve served as the moral, ethical, and spiritual leader of nearly 700,000 personnel around the world and was a trusted advisor to senior most military leaders, including the Secretary of Defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff. His storied career includes leading a team of chaplains serving Air Force Special Operations during the war in Afghanistan and the launch of Operation Iraqi Freedom. A mentor to thousands, he also served as the US Air Force Academy’s Director of Spiritual and Character Development, where he taught a course focused on fostering the character of future leaders.

Steve is an ordained Presbyterian minister and has earned numerous degrees, including a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary, an MBA from Webster University, a Master of Strategic Studies from the Air War College, and a Master of Military Operational Art and Science from Air Command and Staff College. He is also an avid cyclist and accomplished homebrewer.
