After more than 25 years as an executive coach, consultant, and educator, Edana Desatnick has developed a deep understanding of the importance of career transition support. She is a trusted guide to clients as they weigh the opportunities and challenges ahead, helping them rediscover their strengths and passions. She is known for her integrity, wisdom, and ability to help clients challenge their assumptions as they navigate these often-complex decisions.
Prior to becoming a MyNextSeason Advisor, Edana started a consulting firm specializing in helping large global companies solve their key leadership, talent, and organizational challenges. Her Fortune 500 clients span many industries, including healthcare, professional and financial services, banking, luxury consumer, retail, and industrial products. Previously, Edana held senior human capital roles with leading companies, including Merck, Honeywell, Nabisco Brands, and Pepsi. While leading worldwide Organizational Development at Merck, she partnered with the CEO and executive team on issues of key talent, culture, change leadership, and organizational effectiveness.
Edana’s care for others and desire to make a positive impact on the world extends beyond her advising work into her non-profit leadership. She has served on the Board of Trustees for The Matheny Medical and Educational Center, a specialized hospital, school, and residential facility for people with medically complex developmental disabilities, for 20 years, including two terms as Chair. She also served as Vice Chair of Tulane University’s Dean Advisory Council. Edana is frequently requested to facilitate leadership programs and workshops for global not-for-profit organizations and academic institutions.
Edana earned an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in economics from Tulane University. She and her family live in Teaneck, New Jersey.
