Wayne Cafran is an experienced executive coach working with professionals at all levels on career development, leadership skills, and professional transition. As a career-long mentor to many, Wayne uses active listening, curiosity, humility, and intuition to identify and uncover roadblocks or beliefs that can prevent executives, including aspiring C-suite leaders, from achieving their desired goals. In addition to serving as a MyNextSeason Advisor, he also sits on the boards of private and public companies.
A former Partner with KPMG, Wayne was responsible for the oversight, growth, and business development of key accounts. Wayne also served as a national leader for the Healthcare Internal Audit practice as well as Lead Partner for the firm’s largest clients. Previously, he started the firm’s Healthcare Internal Audit practice. During his career, Wayne was responsible for coaching and developing staff and promoting numerous internal candidates for executive roles. He also served as a Champion on KPMG’s African American and Veterans Business Resource Groups.
Wayne is regularly sought for his guidance on executive leadership and organizational governance, which he applies as a board member. He currently serves on the board of EmblemHealth and previously held board roles in both public and private companies.
Wayne is a Certified Leadership Coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) and has earned an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Wayne holds a BA in Political Science from Binghamton University and an MPA in Health Finance from New York University. He and his wife live in New York and enjoy spending time with their three adult children and two grandchildren. Wayne stays active by playing golf and running.
