Amy Woods Brinkley began her next season more than 10 years ago, when she embarked on a portfolio of new endeavors, including joining the MyNextSeason team. After three decades in various corporate roles, she felt called to repurpose her experience in new and challenging ways.
Previously, Amy spent more than 30 years with Bank of America. Among her executive roles, she served as global Chief Risk Officer; President of the Consumer Products division; and Chief Marketing Executive. She earned numerous industry recognitions, including being named one of Fortune magazine’s 50 Most Powerful Women in Business for nine consecutive years. She was also cited by The Wall Street Journal and Forbes as a leading woman in business.
Amy currently chairs the board of Roper Technologies, Inc. and is a board member of TD Bank Group and several of its US subsidiaries. She previously served on the board of Carter’s, Inc. and as a commissioner for Atrium Health. She served on the Bank of America Charitable Foundation and as a 17-year board member for the Princeton Theological Seminary. She served as a director for the Institute of International Finance and the Private Export Funding Corporation; the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships; and the U.S. Treasury Department’s Advisory Committee on the Auditing Profession.
Amy participated at the annual World Economic Forum in Switzerland. She is a member of the Board of Visitors at her alma mater, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her other roles have included Board Chair for the Charlotte Ballet and governing Board Member of the Carolina Thread Trail. Amy lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with Robert, her husband of more than 30 years. They have two adult children and enjoy spending time in the mountains with their two dogs.
