MyNextSeason was co-founded by Dr. Leslie Braksick and Mark Linsz, two seasoned executives who envisioned providing a bridge for retiring professionals and business owners as they transition from careers oriented around productivity, to new seasons anchored in purpose.

Retirement and other corporate transitions are increasingly initiated by companies (rather than individuals), thus often confronting professionals with no time for planning and short lead times for their transition. Because they are single-mindedly and intensely working on behalf of their employers until the day they depart, they have little-to-no time for planning for retirement – the single greatest transition of their adult lives.

Leslie saw this play out with hundreds of executives over her career of more than two decades as an executive advisor to the senior-most leaders of the Fortune 100. Mark observed the same trend while serving nearly three decades as a corporate executive at Bank of America.

Both shared a strong desire to create a company that would address the entire phenomenon of executive retirement, positively impacting the lives of transitioning executives, the companies they retire from, and the communities where they live. They have pulled together a dedicated team of professionals and ex-executive Coaches to help clients transition to their next position, a new career, a portfolio of activities, or a completely new season!
