Integrating the expertise and experience gained as a human resources manager, committed volunteer, and not-for-profit leader, Rani is passionate about connecting the skills, gifts, and talents ofMyNextSeason clients with their next season interests. She works with executives one-on-one to support a wide range of desired outcomes including consulting, full-time work, not-for-profit engagement, corporate directorships, or a portfolio of activities. Through research, networking support, market trend updates, education, and strategy development, Rani serves alongside MyNextSeason Advisors to ensure that each client lands well in a fulfilling next season. Fostering relationships with MyNextSeason’s not-for-profit partners, Rani possesses a deep understanding of their needs, missions, and processes. She is committed to providing opportunities for interested executives to work on meaningful skills-based projects, serve as board members, serve as mentors to less-experienced leaders, or deepen their existing not-for-profit relationships.
Before joining MyNextSeason, Rani worked for seven years at Ikon Office Solutions (nowRicoh), where she served as a Human Resources Manager, providing leadership and strategic direction for more than 600 employees. She has also held leadership roles for a variety of organizations focused on giving back. In 2011, she co-created a program which has provided more than 1,400 beds to school-aged children in need through The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas. Since its inception, Rani has helped grow the ministry, overseeing community partner relationships, coordinating volunteer teams, and managing distribution.
Rani and her husband Brett have been married for more than nineteen years and have two children, Hannah and Ethan. They live in a suburb of Kansas City.
