Following a successful corporate career, Amy Woods Brinkley felt called to repurpose her experience in new and challenging ways. Amy spent 31 years with Bank of America and received numerous industry awards and recognitions. Among her executive roles with the bank, she served as global Chief Risk Officer, President of the Consumer Products division, and Chief Marketing Executive. She was selected by Fortune magazine as one of their 50 Most Powerful Women in Business for nine consecutive years and was cited by The Wall Street Journal and Forbes as among the leading women in business.
Amy currently serves on the boards of TD Bank Group and Carter’s, Inc. She is the commissioner for Atrium Health (formerly Carolinas Healthcare System), a leading not-for-profit regional system of more than 35 hospitals. She has served on the board of the Princeton Theological Seminary for more than 12 years, as well as the Bank of America Charitable Foundation. In addition, Amy has served on the Board of Visitors at her alma mater, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her philanthropic roles include Board Chair for the North Carolina Dance Theater (now the Charlotte Ballet), governing board member of the Carolina Thread Trail, and as an elder in her church. Amy lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with Robert, her husband of more than 26 years. They enjoy spending time in the mountains of North Carolina with their children, Samuel and Rebecca, and their two dogs.
