The OBM Network Lifetime Achievement Award is given to individuals who have fundamentally advanced the understanding or application of behavioral principles in organizational settings. Past recipients have been individuals whose contributions have significantly advanced the field of Organizational Behavior Management.

The Organizational Behavior Management Network Honors Dr. Leslie Wilk Braksick with Lifetime Achievement Award
Kalamazoo, MI— The Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) Network of the Association of Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) has chosen Dr. Leslie Wilk Braksick to receive the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award.
ABAI has been a world-leading supporter of the advancement of the science of behavior analysis and a hub for the community since 1974. Founded in 1982 as a special interest group of ABAI, the OBM Network exists to develop, enhance, and support the growth and vitality of OBM through research, education, practice, and collaboration.
The OBM Network Lifetime Achievement Award is given to individuals who have fundamentally advanced the understanding or application of behavioral principles in organizational settings. Past recipients of this award have been individuals whose contributions have significantly advanced the field of OBM. “It is our great joy to see Leslie’s work recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award,” said Andressa Sleiman, Ph.D., BCBA-D, Chair of the OBM Network Awards Committee. “The committee unanimously agreed that Leslie’s contributions and impact in our field should be honored. She’s a great role model for disseminating OBM to solve business and societal problems.”
“There is no higher honor for me professionally, than to receive this recognition,” said Dr. Braksick. “I am fortunate to do the work I love every day, with amazing clients and colleagues, advancing our application and understanding of the principles of behavioral science in corporate settings.”
Co-founder of two companies, author of five books and hundreds of articles, and practitioner for over three decades, Dr. Braksick relies on the science of human behavior to enable business and individual success. MyNextSeason, a company she co-founded and co-leads, helps companies and leaders navigate important career transitions. Prior to MyNextSeason, Dr. Braksick co-founded and led the global behavioral science consulting firm: Continuous Learning Group, Inc. (CLG).
Dr. Braksick received her Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis and Master’s of Industrial Organizational Psychology from Western Michigan University. She holds a Master’s of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and English from St. Bonaventure University. Dr. Braksick’s publications on leadership, behavior change, and transition are used in educational and corporate settings throughout the world.
